Senior Research Scientist, Proteomics

The Senior Research Scientist, Proteomics (SRS) assumes all responsibilities of a Research Scientist III while operating with a high degree of independence and providing leadership to up to three Research Associates and/or Scientists. The primary focus of this role is hands-on laboratory execution, supporting the successful and timely delivery of proteomics research programs. Working closely with multidisciplinary wet-lab and data science teams, the SRS applies technical expertise to generate high-quality scientific data and advance project objectives.

In addition to laboratory responsibilities, the SRS serves as a client-facing scientific resource, partnering with Laboratory Operations and Business Development to communicate biological insights and support client success across a range of therapeutic areas and modalities. The role also contributes to the commercial scoping of proteomics programs, helping align client expectations and project objectives with operational capabilities and execution requirements. A key objective of this position is to support Sapient's scientific publication strategy through the development and dissemination of high-impact scientific content that strengthens the company's scientific reputation and industry leadership.

Salary Range: $100,000-$160,000
