Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Roadway Engineer to join a dynamic and highly technical team of planners, engineers, and technicians in the Port St. Lucie, Florida area.
As a roadway design engineer, you will lead design projects for a variety of clients in public and private industries. You will also have the opportunity to be part of cutting-edge design projects that utilize the latest technologies for delivering design services to clients.
Responsibilities:- Roadway design
- Geometric layout
- Erosion and sedimentation control
- Traffic control design
- Other related design tasks
- Plan production and development of bid sets
- Coordinating with other disciplines
- Obtaining permits required from regulatory agencies
- Interact and coordinate regularly with clients and sub consultants in the various assignments
What you need to have:- BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- 4+ years relevant experience.
- Professional Engineering License required.
- Projects with state, local, or federal agencies.
- Demonstrated capabilities and success working on medium to large projects, multi-office projects, and/or multiple projects.
- Proven leadership, communication, mentoring and client liaison skills
- Proficient with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D and GeoPAK.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
