    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to lead route operations, support field teams, and ensure efficient service delivery across assigned territories. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and is committed to delivering a positive customer experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily route planning, scheduling, and execution to support on-time service delivery.
    • Monitor route performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost control.
    • Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, operations, and customer support teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
    • Review route data, service trends, and operational metrics to support informed decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations.
    • Support onboarding, coaching, and performance development for route personnel.
    • Respond to service escalations and work to maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Collaborate with leadership to implement process improvements and operational best practices.
    • Assist with route optimization, territory balancing, and resource planning.
    • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication related to route activity and service outcomes.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in route management, logistics, transportation, field operations, or a related operational leadership role.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
    • Experience using route planning, dispatch, CRM, or other operational software tools.
    • Ability to analyze performance data and use insights to improve service and efficiency.
    • Knowledge of safety practices, compliance requirements, and customer service standards.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support team members in a collaborative environment.
    • Flexibility to respond to operational needs, service issues, and changing priorities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in a senior-level route, fleet, or logistics leadership position in the Waste Industry.
    • Experience with route optimization tools and performance reporting systems.
    • Familiarity with large-scale service operations.
    • Working knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance practices.
