Tasks as Senior Sales Manager / Strategic Account Manager

• Evaluation and development of strategic accounts
• Further development of a sales pipeline based on systematic analyses (market, competition, customers)
• Ensuring order intake and revenue generation
• Expansion and maintenance of existing relationships with customers and planners within the assigned sales territory
• OPTION "Working with global Bilfinger's Life Science team to bridge global account relationships to increase US footprint"
• Implementation and further development of structured sales and marketing strategies
• Preparation and execution of contract negotiations, as well as creation of offers and agreements
• Regular reporting and revenue forecasting, continuous maintenance of customer and project data in the CRM system

We are looking forward to meeting a candidate with

• Preferably a completed higher education in business or engineering (e.g. Technical University), specializing in business administration, engineering, process engineering, or pharmaceutical engineering
• 5+ years relevant experience in the sales of plant engineering and piping construction projects, preferably in industries such as Pharma & Biopharma, Semiconductors, Microelectronics, Data Centers or other advanced manufacturing facilities
• Existing network with key decision-makers in the above mentioned industries at both EPC firms and end clients
• Strong hunter sales mentality as this is focused on new business development
• Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, and closing ability
• High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate oneself and others
• General knowledge of contract law
• Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce
• Location preference is Raleigh, NC area; time flexibility and a high willingness to travel
