Senior SAP Finance Functional Analyst

Pay Range: $65.00hr - $70.00hr

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Functional Analyst to provide hands-on support for global SAP Finance applications while the organization progresses through a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. The role will support SAP ECC operations, application enhancements, testing, and ERP readiness activities.

The candidate will support SAP ECC operations, application enhancements, testing, and ERP readiness activities. The role will work closely with internal Finance Applications managers, Finance business stakeholders, managed service providers, and implementation partners. The ideal candidate has strong SAP FI/CO functional experience and can independently investigate issues, execute assigned activities, and drive solutions through implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support for SAP ECC Finance applications, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related processes.
• Investigate production incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate issue resolution with managed service providers.
• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional specifications for SAP enhancements and changes.
• Support SAP configuration analysis, testing, and validation of application changes.
• Execute and coordinate regression testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Support SAP ECC readiness activities related to the S/4HANA Central Finance implementation.
• Assist with validation of SAP OSS Notes, system changes, and integration dependencies.
• Analyze Finance data, transactions, and reconciliation issues across SAP environments.
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand impacts and resolve application issues.
• Support application change governance, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Identify risks and blockers, escalate appropriately, and drive assigned activities to completion.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO functional experience, including implementation and production support.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC Finance processes, configuration, and integration points.
• Experience with functional requirements analysis, solution design, and specification development.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP testing, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting processes and controls.
• Ability to work independently with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance or Central Finance.
• Experience supporting SAP OSS Notes implementation and regression testing.
• Understanding of SAP Finance data replication, reconciliation, and integration dependencies.
• Knowledge of SAP SD billing, procurement, or other cross-functional integration points.
• Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance solutions, or related Finance applications.
• Experience supporting global SAP environments and working with managed service providers.
