Senior Scheduler - Commercial Construction

A commercial builder in Chicago's northwest suburbs is hiring a Senior Scheduler to keep its projects organized, realistic, and on time. You'll work closely with project managers and superintendents and be the go-to person for how the work gets sequenced.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain detailed CPM schedules for commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Work with project managers and superintendents to plan sequencing, milestones, and look-aheads
• Track progress, spot delays early, and recommend practical recovery plans
• Prepare clear schedule updates and reports for project teams, ownership, and clients
• Support delay analysis, time-impact analysis, and schedule-related claims when needed
• Help raise scheduling standards across the company

What You Bring

• 6+ years of construction scheduling experience, ideally with a general contractor on commercial work
• Advanced skills in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
• A solid understanding of construction sequencing and field operations
• Clear communication, with the ability to explain a schedule in plain language
• Sharp attention to detail and an analytical mindset
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus

What We Offer
