Senior Scheduler

Critical Path Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Scheduler with extensive expertise in construction scheduling to lead and coordinate high-value projects such as rail construction, vertical construction and road construction. The Senior Scheduler plays a pivotal role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while exceeding client expectations. Success in this position involves applying technical knowledge to monitor progress, analyze costs, develop and maintain schedules, and provide actionable reports to support project planning and execution within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6
• Coordinate project activities to ensure timelines and budgets are met
• Conduct cost analysis to support project financial oversight
• Monitor project progress and provide timely updates and reports
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
• Delegate tasks based on team members’ skills and experience
• Adapt to schedule changes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of project scheduling

Qualifications, Education, and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business or equivalent with 10+ years' experience particularly on projects that exceed $20M
• 15+ years of commensurate experience
• Experience with road, rail, and vertical construction projects highly desired
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software
• Able to gain trust and connect with others, encourage collaboration, is cooperative, seen as a leader 
• Proven ability to interact and multitask with project team members and clients 
• Ability to delegate tasks to team members according to their skillsets, experience, and abilities 
• Strong skills in MS Excel and working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Expertise in project scheduling, cost analysis, and report writing
• Exceptional communication and team leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently
• Able to effectively and proactively communicate in a variety of settings and styles; can learn new skills, knowledge, and technical abilities quickly
