Senior Security Analyst - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Security Analyst for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Company located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a contract opportunity.

Compensation: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
In this role, the candidate will analyze, design, engineer, and implement SaaS security solutions for existing environments. The ideal candidate will work to address security configuration gaps, troubleshoot integration issues, and develop processes for vulnerability management within a dynamic cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, engineer, implement and support SaaS security solutions for existing environments
• Design and develop processes to address security configuration gaps with an eye towards continuous improvement and automated secure by default guardrails
• Work closely with vendor support personnel to troubleshoot integration issues between security solutions and other business SaaS applications
• Provide detailed documentation to ensure transfer of knowledge for the internal team

Primary Requirements:

• 5-8+ years of experience in information technology with experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with vulnerability management programs, including technologies that scan for vulnerabilities, processes for governing vulnerability remediation, and system engineering for remediating identified vulnerabilities
• Solid knowledge of Collaboration security solutions (email security filtering tools, M365 Purview, Slack and Zoom security configurations, CASB, etc) and SaaS Configuration Management pertinent to Security best practices
• Experience in multiple platforms and environments: Windows, Mac, & Linux, workstation & server, physical, virtual, & cloud
• Working knowledge of Security Frameworks (NIST, MITRE, CIS Benchmarks, etc) with preference towards practical application at the operations and engineering level
• Understanding of a wide-range of cybersecurity capabilities including security engineering, identity & access management, incident response, logging & monitoring, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
• Application Vulnerability Management

• SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
• Commitment and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar/new products and technologies
• Solid written and verbal communications skills

Desired Skills:

• Advanced education in information systems, software engineering, computer science, systems engineering or cybersecurity (Degrees, certifications, etc.)
• Experience with development and scripting languages, Python, PowerShell Bash, and/or .NET
• Strong problem-solving and project planning skills
