Senior ServiceNow HRSD Architect / Expert

Location: Merrifield, Virginia (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow HRSD Architect / Expert with extensive experience in ServiceNow, including both System Administrator and Application Developer certifications. This business-functional and technical role is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing ServiceNow HRSD solutions to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, and operational support.
• Design, prototype, test, and implement ServiceNow HRSD solutions, including Employee Center Pro, HR Case Management, and Knowledge Management.
• Develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow HRSD solutions using scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide scripting, and Business Rules.
• Create reports and dashboards to display KPIs and provide insights related to HR services and business processes.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate user needs into technical solutions.
• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure the stability of HRSD solutions.
• Document, maintain, and update policies, procedures, and controls for platform operation and the software development life cycle.
• Ensure all custom development aligns with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to HR stakeholders and end-users.
• Stay informed about ServiceNow platform updates and recommend enhancements to optimize HRSD functionality.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of ServiceNow experience with Human Resources case management.
• 4+ years of product development experience in the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) product.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
• Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript and Glide scripting), UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with integration best practices for enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle HCM Cloud, Microsoft 365).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow AI platform tools and capabilities, including NowAssist and MoveWorks.
