Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Populate and rework printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Perform mechanical assembly of chassis, cables, and harnesses.
• Read and interpret assembly instructions, wiring diagrams, and engineering documents, as well as test and troubleshoot assembled products.
• Work with Engineers on prototype designs/builds and help the team transition Mechanical Assemblies into Manufacturing.
• Proactively identify and help address issues with appropriate groups to assure a smooth production scheduling/processing.

COMPETENCIES

• Technical Skills (Able to read and interpret PCA Part Layout Drawings, CAD Mechanical Drawings).
• Familiar with NIST Quality Standards.
• Familiar with Windows Office Suite tools (Excel, Word, Power Point....).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibility.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• Ten (10) years minimum of practical experience.
• Formal training and experience in PCA and mechanical assembly.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Certification in IPC standards a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job is performed indoors in a manufacturing lab setting. Activities include extended periods of sitting and extensive work at a bench.

SALARY RAGE:

Full Time: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
