Job Description
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain production-quality software applications in a C/C++ environment, including new feature development, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Design, implement, and support software solutions that interface with hardware, automation systems, and real-time processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, operations, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define software functionality.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues identified through testing, internal teams, or customer feedback.
- Partner with quality assurance teams to validate software performance, functionality, and system integration in both test and production environments.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

A successful Senior Software Applications Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline required
- Experience developing, documenting, and testing of software for complex electro-mechanical equipment
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with embedded system development required
- Experience developing real-time multi-tasked control using a Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Proven experience with implementation and application of signal processing methods
