Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support enterprise applications and complex financial systems for FDOT. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development, database management, systems analysis, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and financial systems.
Analyze business requirements and implement scalable technical solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues and improve system performance.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Lead development efforts and ensure coding standards and software quality.
Support system modernization and continuous process improvement.
Required & Preferred Skills
7+ years of experience as a Senior Developer.
5+ years of experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Oracle, or similar relational databases (Required).
Strong SQL, systems analysis, and application development skills.
Experience with complex financial applications and business processes.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET (Preferred).
Knowledge of Entity Framework, NHibernate, or other ORM tools (Preferred).
Experience in application modernization, quality assurance, and software development best practices (Preferred).
