Senior Software Engineer

This is a full-time position, and requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.

2HB Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in order to support its government customer in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Software Engineer shall be responsible for implementing access controls and permission mechanisms for securing access to critical HPC system resources through robust permission management, ensuring compliance with the Agency’s security policies and industry standards.

Position Required Skills 

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash) to automate tasks and processes
• Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming language
• Experience implementing RBAC/ABAC for HPC systems
• Experience with advanced Linux security administration including PAM, SELinux, file permissions, ACLs, and audit logging.
• Experience developing IAM solutions using Keycloak
• Experience implementing identity federation and SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2)
• Experience developing and maintaining secret management integrations using HashiCorp Vault
• Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning HPC hardware and software components
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI 
• Experience with Git Source Control System
