Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Angular / Azure) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using modern Microsoft technologies.

You will work across backend services, frontend applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure, taking ownership of technical solutions from initial design through production deployment. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on development skills with sound architectural judgment and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using C#, .NET 10, and ASP.NET Core.
• Define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger and implement secure internal and external integrations.
• Apply Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, MediatR, and modern design patterns.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop efficient data-access components using Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.
• Build and enhance frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Design and maintain cloud-native applications using Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, and API Management.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, deployment automation, and production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database, integration, and cloud environments.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Architects, Product teams, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from technical design and implementation to deployment and production support.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful APIs.
• 3+ years of frontend development experience, preferably with Angular and TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, DDD, CQRS, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure SQL.
• Experience designing secure APIs and enterprise integrations using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience working with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and API Management.
• Experience writing automated tests using xUnit, NUnit, Moq, Jasmine, Karma, or Cypress.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across backend, frontend, database, and cloud systems.
• Ability to work independently, evaluate technical trade-offs, and deliver reliable production-ready solutions.
• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with Technical Leads, Architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to provide code reviews, technical guidance, and mentorship to other engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building event-driven systems using Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and containerized application development.
• Familiarity with Module Federation and Micro Frontend architectures.
• Experience using monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or similar solutions.
• Experience working in Agile software development teams.
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications or improving cloud-native architectures.
