The Role

Roger is hiring Senior Software Engineers (5+ years) with a strong backend focus, startup experience (pre-seed to Series B) and a passion for healthcare. You will be a core team member with significant ownership, scaling core services and building new generative AI and LLM-driven workflows in a flat engineering structure with the CTO.

What You Will Do

• Build and ship complex backend services and infrastructure that interface with LLMs and generative AI.
• Own zero-to-one projects, from MVP prototypes to scalable, secure, reliable production systems.
• Scale existing, widely adopted products as they launch to more organizations.
• Improve backend architecture, observability and code quality.
• Collaborate directly with other engineers and the CTO.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of software engineering with a strong backend focus
• Startup experience (pre-seed to Series B)
• Experience building with LLMs or generative AI
• Python and TypeScript, with AWS, Docker and PostgreSQL/MongoDB
• A passion for healthcare
• US work authorization without sponsorship; hybrid 3 days a week in San Francisco
