Compensation

$135,000 - $170,000 (depending on experience)

Position Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade software solutions that power critical business operations and customer-facing digital platforms. You will work closely with product managers, architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on full-stack development, cloud technologies, modern software architecture, and continuous delivery best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and distributed services.
• Build scalable microservices and event-driven applications.
• Contribute to full software development lifecycle activities including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and performance issues.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

• Develop and deploy solutions in Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Participate in cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud automation efforts.

Databases & Data Integration

• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between internal and external systems.
• Ensure data integrity, scalability, performance, and security.

DevOps & Quality Practices

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
• Conduct peer code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Support application monitoring, logging, telemetry, and observability initiatives.

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technology recommendations.
• Support software releases and production deployments.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience developing applications with:
  • C#
  • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
  • React.js
  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • SQL Server
  • REST APIs
• Experience building scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency with source control, Git workflows, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and modern development methodologies.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • Node.js
  • GraphQL
  • Kafka
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Event Hub
  • NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Kubernetes
• Experience supporting high-volume eCommerce or digital platforms.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and software automation.
• Experience with performance tuning and large-scale database environments.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
