What you'll do... Position Summary What you'll do… Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems supporting Amends and real-time delivery platforms. Contribute to architecture decisions while delivering high-quality, production-ready code aligned with Walmart Global Tech standards. What you'll do Design and develop backend services for Amends systems. Build and implement pipelines to process real-time delivery data. Develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Data Engineering. Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions. Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. Ensure adherence to engineering best practices and coding standards. What you'll bring 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot. Experience building applications using microservices architecture. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases: Azure Cosmos DB MySQL Oracle Cassandra Experience with distributed search/cache technologies: ElasticSearch Solr MemCache Experience with event streaming platforms: Kafka Kinesis Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
