About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Solution Architect – HR to lead end-to-end business and technology solution design across enterprise platforms for a major healthcare organization.
This is a senior architecture leadership role. You will own solution architecture for HR capabilities spanning SAP, Workday, and Azure; set integration principles; and ensure designs meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements. You will collaborate across architecture, engineering, HR, security, and program teams — not just produce diagrams.
What You’ll Do"
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for HR and related enterprise capabilities.
- Design and govern integrations across SAP, Workday, Azure, and connected enterprise systems.
- Ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements.
- Translate complex HR business processes into implementable architecture and integration patterns.
- Define API and integration standards that delivery teams can execute consistently.
- Lead cross-functional architecture collaboration with solution architects, engineering leads, HR stakeholders, security, and program leadership.
- Drive architecture decisions on platform alignment, interface design, and future-state process flows.
- Produce solution roadmaps, integration designs, and architecture artifacts that support executive and delivery decisions.
- Guide domain architects and implementation teams so delivery stays aligned to the approved solution design.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or large-scale technology leadership.
- Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise solution architecture for HR or similarly complex cross-platform domains.
- Hands-on solution architecture experience with SAP and Workday in an enterprise environment.
- Deep experience designing integrations that meet functional, non-functional, security, and scalability requirements.
- Strong Azure solution/integration architecture experience.
- Strong experience with APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong business process design skills in HR or related enterprise domains.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration from an architecture seat — partnering with engineering, business, security, and program teams to drive decisions.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate architecture decisions into business impact.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship now or in the future).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare or other regulated-industry solution architecture experience.
- Prior M&A, platform-consolidation, or HR transformation architecture leadership.
- Experience setting integration standards across SAP + Workday + Azure landscapes.
