Job Summary

SAP Program Director

An SAP Program Director is a senior executive responsible for leading and governing large-scale SAP transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery of business outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP transformation programs (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, IBP, EWM, etc.).

Define program strategy, roadmap, and governance framework.

Manage multi-million-dollar budgets and program P&L.

Oversee multiple project managers, workstreams, and delivery teams.

Engage with CXOs, business leaders, and key stakeholders.

Drive risk management, issue resolution, and escalation handling.

Ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to SAP best practices.

Manage vendor, partner, and customer relationships.

Lead organizational change management and business adoption activities.

Required Skills

Deep SAP functional and/or technical expertise.

Program & Portfolio Management.

SAP S/4HANA Transformation experience.

Stakeholder & Executive Management.

Financial and Commercial Management.

Global Delivery Management.

Resource Planning and Leadership.

Risk, Compliance, and Governance.

Typical Experience

25+ years of overall IT/SAP experience.

25+ years managing large SAP programs or portfolios.

Experience leading global SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, migrations, and AMS engagements.

Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate, Agile certifications are advantageous.
