As we continue investing in our operations and supply chain capabilities, we are creating a Senior Sourcing Manager position to strengthen our supplier network, improve purchasing strategies, and build a more proactive sourcing function.

This is an opportunity for an experienced sourcing professional to step into a highly visible position, work alongside senior leadership, and help shape how the organization approaches procurement, supplier relationships, risk management, and long-term cost improvements.

We are not looking for someone who simply manages purchase orders or maintains existing supplier relationships. We need someone who knows how to find better suppliers, negotiate meaningful savings, identify risks before they become problems, and bring practical solutions to a complex manufacturing environment.

Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across a complex manufacturing and distribution environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across raw materials, manufactured components, finished goods, and other purchasing categories.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve costs, strengthen supply continuity, and reduce single-source dependencies.
• Lead supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and commercial agreements.
• Evaluate supplier performance, manufacturing capabilities, capacity, quality, and potential supply chain risks.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Planning to improve sourcing decisions and operational performance.
• Help establish sourcing processes, supplier performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop purchasing team members, with opportunities for expanded leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven strategic sourcing, procurement, or commodity management experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive, automotive aftermarket, industrial manufacturing, or similar industry experience preferred.
• Experience managing complex, high-SKU product portfolios and supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated success identifying new suppliers, negotiating agreements, reducing costs, and mitigating supplier risks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, inventory, and supplier capacity.
• ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical capabilities; Oracle preferred.
• Hands-on, collaborative leadership style with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Location: Greater Memphis, TN area (Mississippi) | Primarily onsite with flexible scheduling and occasional remote flexibility.

Compensation: $140,000–$150,000 base plus eligibility for an approximately 10% target bonus.
