Role description
Job Title: Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering
Work Location- Irvine, CA
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Testing Engineer with strong expertise in data validation ETL testing data warehousing concepts and Informatica PowerCenter.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating end-to-end data integration processes ensuring data accuracy completeness and consistency across source and target systems.
Analyse business requirements ETL specifications source to target mappings and data models.
Design and execute test cases test scenarios and test scripts for ETL Data Warehouse projects.
Validate data extraction transformation and loading processes developed using Informatica PowerCenter.
Perform source to target data validation and reconciliation.
Execute functional integration regression system and UAT support testing.
Develop and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation.
Identify track and report defects using defect management tools.
Validate data quality data integrity and business transformation rules.
Work closely with ETL developers' business analysts' data architects and stakeholders.
Support production deployments and perform post release validations.
Participate in test planning estimation and status reporting.
Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing.
Hands-on experience validating large volume data migrations and transformations.
Knowledge of data quality and data reconciliation techniques.
Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Workflow Monitor, Informatica Repository Manager, Informatica Designer Workflow Manager.
Database SQL, Strong SQL querying skills.
Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Snowflake preferred.
Experience with JIRA, HP ALM Quality Centre, Azure DevOps.
Data Warehouse Concepts, Fact and Dimension tables, Star Snowflake schemas.
Data Mart and Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture.
Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Exposure to Big Data technologies Databricks Hadoop Spark.
Knowledge of automation testing using Python or Selenium.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
Understanding of CICD and DevOps practices.
Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology engineering or related field.
Relevant certifications in Informatica ETL Testing or Data Engineering are preferred.

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual''s skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
