Job Title: Senior SQL Database Administrator
Location: Little Rock, AR (onsite)
Duration: 7+ Months
Note: In-person Interview only
Position is available for extensions.
NOTE: This position requires candidates that have recent hands-on experience in ALL aspects of SQL DBA Administration.
Primary Responsibilities
Installing and upgrading SQL Servers, including applying service packs, cumulave updates
Performing roune database maintenance
Proficient in TSQL coding, tuning, and ETL methodologies
SQL Server High Availability Methods
• Installing and managing end point protecon
• Applicaon Server, Web Server, File Server, and FTP Server configuraon and maintenance
• Ulizing PowerShell for administraon tasks
• Windows Failover Cluster configuraon and maintenance
• Windows Server Roles and Features
• .NET Framework Components

- Maintaining and managing SQL Server disk storage and experience with AWS storage systems to ensure storage is properly ulized
- Managing disk storage for Windows Failover Cluster Service (WFCS)
- Establishing standards and schedules for database backups
- Developing recovery procedures to meet RPO and RTO
- Restoring databases with point in me recovery
Proficient in TSQL coding, tuning, and ETL methodologies
SQL Server High Availability Methods
- Experience with VLDB
- Experience monitoring, supporng, troubleshoong high intense systems with both online transacons and batch transacons
- Always On and AWS HA Zones
- Required: 3 Years Windows Server Administration experience:
• Installing and managing end point protecon
• Applicaon Server, Web Server, File Server, and FTP Server configuraon and maintenance
• Ulizing PowerShell for administraon tasks
• Windows Failover Cluster configuraon and maintenance
• Windows Server Roles and Features
• .NET Framework Components
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture and applicaon maintenance
- Familiarity with industry security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, and PII)
- Cloud compung knowledge
- Cloud storage, backup, and restore mechanisms
- Firewall administraon and maintenance
- Acve Directory knowledge (GPO, FQDN, DNS Server, SPN)
- Email, SMTP, and Proxy Server troubleshoong
- Web Services development and support
- Availability to provide 24 hour support
- Strong communicaon skills, both oral and wriCen
