    Job Title: Senior SQL Developer (3–5 Years Experience)

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer with 3–5 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL programming, database performance tuning, data modeling, and supporting business-critical applications.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.

    • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.

    • Design and implement efficient database schemas and data models.

    • Develop and support ETL processes for data integration and migration.

    • Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery procedures.

    • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and data-related issues.

    • Create technical documentation for database objects and processes.

    • Participate in code reviews and implement database development best practices.

    Required Skills

    • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

    • Strong expertise in SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, CTEs, window functions, and complex joins.

    • Experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

    • Good understanding of database design, normalization, and data modeling.

    • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or scripting using Python/PowerShell is a plus.

    • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

    • Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery concepts.

    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with cloud database platforms such as Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS, or Google Cloud SQL.

    • Knowledge of reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or Tableau is an advantage.

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 3–5 years of experience as a SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role.
