We operate exclusively in Texas' major markets: Dallas‑Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and San Antonio.Weitzman is seeking an experienced Senior Staff | Property Accountant for our Dallas office located in the Uptown area.ResponsibilitiesFull general ledger experience through financial statement preparation and reviewReconciliation of balance sheet accounts, management fees and lender escrow accountsBank statement reconciliationsReview of accounts payable and receivables for portfolio including cash managementOther duties as assignedQualificationsAccounting or Finance Degree preferred – minimum 12 hours accounting requiredMultiple entity real estate accounting experience requiredAccrual basis accounting experience requiredFundamental understanding of GAAP and its practical applicationProficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)Self‑motivated, detail oriented, organized, with the ability to meet assigned deadlinesAbility to effectively communicate and build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the companyDependable with a strong work ethicBenefitsMRI and Yardi software experience preferredCompetitive compensationCompany holidays and generous PTOEmployer paid life insurance and long-term disability coverageMedical, vision, and dental insuranceHealth Savings (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Learning and development classesMonthly social eventsFree on‑site secured parkingFree on‑site gym#J-18808-Ljbffr
