Senior Staff Accountant – Inventory
Location: Temecula, CA | Hybrid: two days onsite per week
Compensation: Up to $97,000 base salary
Job Type: Full-time

We're seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with strong inventory accounting and reconciliation experience. This position supports accurate financial reporting through inventory reconciliations and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

This is an immediate opening for an experienced accountant who enjoys hands-on accounting work and collaborating with an accounting leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial inventory reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support accurate inventory balances in the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Work with internal teams to resolve inventory accounting issues and maintain accurate financial records.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.
• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Hands-on financial inventory accounting and reconciliation experience.
• Experience performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes.
• Ability to commute to Temecula and work onsite two days per week.

Preferred Qualification

• SAP experience.
