A large and prestigious business management firm seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to join their dynamic team.ResponsibilitiesOversee financial statements preparation and analysis.Supervise accounting processes and procedures.Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.Review and approve journal entries.Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.Prepare tax packages.Provide guidance and support to junior staff.Lead client meetings.Develop and implement financial controls.Analyze financial data and prepare reports for the Partners.Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions.Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.Communicate effectively with government agencies relating to client tax notifications received.Review and correct financial statements and general ledgers.QualificationsAgilLink experienceAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reportingExperience with financial modeling and forecastingUnderstanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Competency in reading and recording Brokerage accountsAbility to work with complex financial data and perform data analysis.Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysisFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirementsAbility to prepare client meeting packages.Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders.Education and Experience RequirementsFour + years of accounting and business management experience.BSc/BA in business management, accounting, finance, or relevant field: MSc/MA, CFP and/or CPA is a plus.Extensive knowledge of CCH systems.Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Advanced knowledge of Entity Income TaxationAdvanced in Individual Income TaxationPayroll KnowledgeEntertainment experience is a plus.BenefitsMedical, Dental and Vision coverageFlexible Spending AccountBasic Life and AD&DVoluntary Life and AD&DLong Term DisabilityVoluntary Critical Illness and Cancer, Hospital IndemnityCompensation:$80,000-$110,000 per year#J-18808-Ljbffr
