Senior/Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

We are partnering with an established aerospace and defense manufacturer seeking a Staff Accountant / Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their responsibilities and develop into a future leadership role.

What You'll Do

• Perform month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Support inventory accounting and manufacturing cost tracking
• Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Analyze financial data and assist with reporting requirements
• Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to improve processes
• Assist with audits, forecasting, budgeting, and special projects

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of month-end close and account reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
• Experience working within ERP systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or highly regulated industries
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Interest in career growth and advancement opportunities within accounting leadership
• U.S. person status required due to regulatory compliance requirements associated with the role
