We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Superintendent to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects from inception to completion, demonstrating exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the project's day-to-day operations, ensuring that all aspects of the project are carried out on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise the work of project team including architects, engineers, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure the project is executed in accordance with the design, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and implement project strategies and schedules, ensuring all project milestones are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs to maintain budget control.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Procore and BlueBeam to track project progress and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with LEED or other relevant environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the project team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Prepare and submit regular project reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Proficient in project management software such as Procore and BlueBeam.
  • Strong knowledge of LEED or equivalent sustainability standards.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
