Position Summary Senior Supplier Quality Engineering Manager – responsible for leading teams of Supplier Quality Engineers located in Fort Worth, TX; Milwaukee, WI; and Warsaw, IN. Oversee changes to existing supplied products and processes, supplier performance, improvement activities, and quality risk reduction initiatives. Manage compliance of external supplied products to purchased materials standards and Medtronic Purchasing Controls, FDA, international requirements, and Quality System Regulations.Responsibilities Lead a team of Supplier Quality Engineers to ensure delivery of quality components, materials, and services in compliance with purchasing controls.Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track supplier and team performance, including training, nonconformances, open actions, Supplier CAPA, supplier change control, global supplier quality improvement programs, and performance goals.Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers and manufacturing functions to investigate and resolve supplier‑related quality or compliance issues discovered during incoming inspection and/or production.Direct corrective and preventive actions to resolve supplier‑related issues such as nonconformances, Supplier CAPA activities, audit findings, and complaint investigations.Ensure compliance with purchasing controls by supporting internal and external notified body audits, FDA inspections, and related outcomes.Manage performance, develop talent, engagement, and inclusion for direct reports; communicate business and operational developments, and prioritize departmental initiatives.Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews for staff; conduct regular 1:1s to guide development and align with departmental goals.Qualifications Must Have:Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related technical field with 7+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry, plus 5+ years of leadership experience. OR Advanced Degree with 5+ years of experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry, plus 5+ years of leadership experience.Strong communication, organizational and project planning skills.Proven track record of influencing, negotiating, and leading change initiatives.Judgment in assessing risks and communicating complex technical challenges to senior management.Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills for a direct‑report team.For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, satisfaction of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) required.Nice to Have:MBA, Master's in Engineering/Science/Technical field.ASQ CQE, CQA and/or CSQP certification.First Time Quality (FTQ) Coach / Six Sigma / Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Physical Job Requirements The above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed.
