Senior Supplier Quality Engineering ManagerApplication window closes 20 Jul 2026.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of Supplier Quality Engineers responsible for ensuring delivery of quality components, materials, and services in compliance with purchasing controls.Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track supplier and team performance (training, nonconformances, open actions, supplier CAPA, change control, global supplier quality improvement programs, goals, etc.).Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers and manufacturing functions to investigate and resolve supplier‑related quality or compliance issues discovered during incoming inspection and/or production.Lead the team in corrective and preventive actions to resolve supplier‑related issues (e.g., nonconformances, supplier CAPA activities, audit findings, complaint investigations).Ensure compliance with purchasing controls, including supporting internal, external notified body audits and FDA inspections and outcomes.Manage performance, develop talent, engagement and inclusion, communicate business and operational developments, plan, prioritize and direct responsibilities of direct reports.Mentor, develop and coach staff to meet or exceed performance expectations and defined objectives.Provide leadership to staff, prioritizing strategic and departmental initiatives, defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and managing staff 1:1s for performance management and employee development.Work a minimum of five days a week onsite as required for cross‑functional collaboration.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or a technical field with 7+ years of work experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry with 5+ years of leadership experience, OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 5+ years of work experience in Engineering, Quality, and/or regulated industry with 5+ years of leadership experience.Nice to HaveMBA or master's in engineering, science or technical field.ASQ CQE, CQA, and/or CSQP certification.First Time Quality (FTQ) Coach, Six Sigma or Lean Green Belt/Black Belt certified.Strong communication, organizational and project planning skills.Demonstrated track record of effectively influencing and negotiating with others and leading successful change initiatives.Proven judgment in assessing risks and communicating complex technical challenges to upper management.Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills for the team of direct reports.Physical Job RequirementsThe position requires regular independent mobility, interaction with a computer, and communication with peers and co‑workers.
