As a Senior Systems Engineer within the Research and Development team at Edwards Korea Ltd, you will be instrumental in pioneering innovative product development initiatives within the Vacuum Technique sector. Your role will encompass leading cross-functional projects that integrate cutting-edge technologies with business strategies, driving the development of new systems from concept through successful market launch. Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams, you will ensure that new product introductions align with our commitment to quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. Reporting to the department leader in Edwards Korea - PC Asan, you will be a key contributor to advancing our technology leadership and industry standing.

Your day-to-day

• Lead the design and development of sophisticated integrated systems in alignment with customer needs and industry advancements.
• Develop and execute robust test plans, ensuring all products exceed safety, quality, and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, manufacturing, and quality assurance to align project objectives and milestones.
• Manage resource planning, business case development, and cost estimations to support new product introduction projects.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating these insights into ongoing development activities.
• Analyze technical data and feedback to refine product designs and enhance system performance continuously.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related scientific disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience in systems engineering or R&D roles within high-technology manufacturing sectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in design and simulation software.
• Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse technical teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to sustainability and innovation, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
