Our client is currently seeking a qualified
Senior Systems Operations Engineer to join their team in a
hybrid role in Des Moines, IA.
The ideal candidate must possess hands on Windows 11 and Intune skills to support and troubleshoot issues and engineer solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:Support project for 4,100 Branches, 65,000 desktops / tablets, 200,000 various peripherals
Tier 3 production support tickets
Answering vendor pages from techs installing or doing break/fix work
Light AD Administration / Fulfilling QA Tester Requests
Issue trending, root cause resolution
Conducting unit-level testing on new hardware and software updates
Author simple to intermediate-level fix scripts
Provide support to vendor technicians
Analyzing workstation logs and working with the development team on issues
Implement complex / advanced automated solutions
Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience in a Tier 2 / Tier 3 production support role remotely troubleshooting Windows 10 / 11 based devices (workstations, laptops, tablets) and/or printers/peripherals in a large networked environment
3+ years of experience with MS Configuration Manager
2+ years of experience with MS Intune
Minimum 2+ years of basic Active Directory administration
Working knowledge of remote desktop support/administration tools such as: RDP, SCCM, remote registry editor, Sysinternals tools such as psexec / pskill / psloggedon / procmon / process explorer)
2+ years of desktop administration, engineering, scripting (PowerShell, Batch Files, etc.)
Wage Range:
The rate for this position is between
$34.28 - $45.70 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
