Job Description

Excelraise LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Report Developer / ETL professional for a 12-month contract with CT DCF. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall IT experience, 5+ years of Tableau development, strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Talend.

Rate: per/hr on 1099
Location: Hartford, CT – Hybrid

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Tableau reports, dashboards, and data visualizations based on business requirements.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries, T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS or Talend for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
  • Develop and maintain SSRS reports and support report server and SharePoint integration.
  • Design and maintain relational data models, data marts, data dictionaries, and database architectures.
  • Perform SQL query tuning and SSIS package performance optimization.
    Support legacy system migration, data conversion, and integration with new applications.
  • Deploy SSIS packages using Git/version control, environment variables, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Perform data reconciliation, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of Tableau development experience.
• 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS, SSRS, or Talend.
• Hands-on experience with SQL performance tuning, stored procedures, and database troubleshooting.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, data migration, and data integration.
• Experience with Git or Team Foundation version control and SQL Server Agent.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• State Government client experience is highly preferred.
• Salesforce and MuleSoft experience are preferred additional skills.
• Must be able to meet the hybrid onsite requirement in Hartford, CT.
• Rate: on 1099 only.
