Senior Tax Consultant

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Tax Consultant at a global asset management company in Boston, MA 02116. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of tax or combined tax and audit experience within the alternative investments industry.

This is a temporary role (8+ months) and will pay between $70.00-$100.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

On-site 3 days per week

Starts Dec. 1^st, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the timely filing of all partnership and corporate federal, state, and foreign income tax filings (including ensuring all required tax information received from numerous low-tier pass-through investments is accurately disclosed, K-1s are clearly presented with all the necessary tax information, etc.).

• Coordinate paper tax return mailings and check preparation with applicable internal departments.

• Prepare journal entries for the payment of entity-level state taxes, non-resident state withholding taxes, and any non-US withholding taxes.

• Calculate and allocate taxable income across various fund structures, Management Company, and GP entities.

• Prepare monthly tax efficiency and unrealized gain/loss reports for the funds.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Preferably a CPA and/or MST candidate.

• 4+ years of tax, or combined tax and audit, experience within the alternative investments industry.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Strong research and analytical skills (combined with the ability to focus on detail).

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Highly proficient in Excel.
