About the Opportunity - Senior Tax Manager
We are partnering with a growing and highly respected public accounting firm to identify an experienced Senior Tax Manager with deep expertise in real estate taxation. Key Responsibilities - Senior Tax Manager
- Review complex tax returns, including S-Corporations (1120S) and Partnerships (1065)
- Provide technical guidance related to real estate partnerships, 1031 exchanges, entity structuring, and tax planning strategies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters and business planning initiatives
- Research and analyze technical tax issues and communicate practical recommendations
- Mentor, coach, and develop managers and staff within a collaborative tax department
- Participate in department leadership initiatives, succession planning, and process improvements
- Support strategic client relationships and high-level tax advisory engagements
- Collaborate with firm leadership to drive growth and maintain technical excellence
Qualifications - Senior Tax Manager
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required
- 10+ years of public accounting experience
- Extensive experience with partnership and S-Corporation taxation
- Strong knowledge of real estate partnerships and 1031 exchanges
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client relationships
- Proven leadership experience mentoring and developing tax professionals
- Strong technical research, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Estate, trust, and exit-planning experience preferred
- Excellent communication and client advisory skills
