Job Description
Job Title: Senior Tech Field Engineer
Location: North Syracuse, NY
Pay: $25-$28.78/hr.
Work Mode: Onsite
Summary:
- Weekly Mileage: 250-350 per week
Responsibilities:
- Repair laptops and desktops in the metro area.
- Perform repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards, and keyboards.
- Conduct whole unit swaps, repair or replace PC peripherals.
- Close service tickets in real-time using the company-provided phone.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation and car insurance.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
- General knowledge of laptop/desktop hardware and software, including Microsoft applications.
- Ability to resolve basic/non-complex problems as directed.
- Client and/or governmental clearance may be required.
- Police or criminal background verification clearance may be required.
- Must complete required product training.
Preferred Skills:
- Computer-building background experience preferred.
