Impact Recruitment is currently searching for a highly motivated Senior Transportation Engineer to join our client's Transportation/Municipal Division in Fort Myers, Florida.
What you’ll be doing:- Serve as lead engineer for highway/transportation design (including horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, alternative analysis/design, and quantity calculations) and plan production.
- Perform design calculations.
- Prepare summary reports.
- Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments.
- Coordination with other disciplines and internal Project Managers.
- Assist with proposal preparation and business development efforts.
Preferred Qualifications- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Microstation and OpenRoads experience.
- Experience as a PM or Task Manager on FDOT facilities.
- 8+ years Experience.
- Local agency highway project design experience desirable.
