Location: Atlanta, GA  (100% Remote)
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Pay Range:  $60000-$65000 annually

Job Summary:

This role involves managing global transportation freight payables, ensuring financial controls, and resolving complex invoice exceptions. The analyst will be responsible for key financial workflows for assigned carriers, focusing on accuracy and efficiency. They will also drive continuous improvement projects to optimize freight payment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile carrier statements of account to reduce aged balances.
• Resolve complex invoice exceptions within strict service level agreements.
• Lead freight claims and billing disputes to secure timely credits.
• Analyze high-volume transaction data for executive reporting and insights.
• Drive quarterly improvement projects for carrier portfolios.

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced SQL for data analysis.
• Expertise in complex spreadsheet modeling.
• Strong executive-level communication skills.

Domain / Industry Experience: Experience in transportation finance, freight audit and payment, carrier accounts receivable management, or supply chain accounting is required, with a proven background managing significant freight spend and resolving high-volume exceptions globally.
