Are you interested in shaping the future of entertainment? Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching?

Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV. From one service, we"re delivering versatile ways to watch hundreds of thousands of movies, TV series, and live events on the web, mobile, and TV. Our service is available in more than 200 territories globally, and we"re just getting started.

Working closely with business and technology partners, we use research, design, and prototyping to guide early product development, bring clarity to engineering goals, and develop a customer-centric point of view.

This is where you come in. As a Senior UX Designer, you"ll join our Enterprise (PRIZE) team within PVXD, leading design for Marketing Automation tools that help partners promote and grow their content on Prime Video. You"ll also be a core contributor to PRIZEUI, our enterprise design system, defining and evolving the shared patterns, components, and standards that bring coherence across our portfolio of partner and operator tools.

You"ll use AI-assisted design workflows to move fast, from rapid prototyping with tools like Kiro and Figma Make to leveraging GenAI capabilities within the products you design. You"ll partner closely with PM, Engineering, and fellow designers to ship high-quality enterprise experiences that simplify complex workflows for content partners, marketers, and internal operators.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UX design for Marketing Automation products, from discovery research and concept exploration through to detailed interaction design and developer handoff
  • Contribute to PRIZEUI as a core team member, defining, documenting, and evolving design system components, patterns, and usage guidelines, articulating the long-term CX and technical implications of pattern decisions to drive alignment and establish standards across enterprise platforms
  • Conduct customer research and discovery to understand partner needs, identify opportunities to invent and simplify, and ground design decisions in real user workflows
  • Rapidly prototype ideas using high-fidelity tools and AI-assisted design workflows to validate concepts with stakeholders and customers
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle, translating complex business requirements into clear, intuitive enterprise experiences
  • Present and defend design recommendations to stakeholders and leadership, articulating design rationale and trade-offs with clarity
  • Identify opportunities to integrate GenAI capabilities into enterprise workflows, designing AI-assisted features that reduce friction for end users
  • Collaborate with UX Researchers and Design Technologists to test prototypes with real customers, including studio partners, marketers, and operations teams
  • Identify systemic UX issues across enterprise products and drive solutions that benefit multiple teams, influencing product and technical decisions beyond your immediate workstream
  • Contribute to the broader PRIZE design team culture through design critiques, mentoring junior designers, and sharing best practices in design system thinking and AI-first methodologies
  • Navigate and prioritize evolving initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, balancing near-term delivery with longer-term design system and platform investments

About the team

You"ll be joining the Enterprise Experience team within PVXD (Prime Video Experience Design). We designs tools and workflows for content partners, operators, and internal teams who power the PV content supply chain. We work on products spanning marketing automation, content acquisition, partner onboarding, publishing, and analytics. Our core differentiator is that GenAI serves as connective tissue that transforms both what we deliver and how we deliver it. We"re building PRIZEUI, an enterprise design system that brings coherence and quality to our growing portfolio of tools. We"re scrappy yet detail-oriented, knowing when to move quickly versus when to dive deep. We partner closely with UX Researchers and Design Technologists to create experiences that our enterprise customers get to test and provide feedback on.

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
