Job Description
Job Type: Short-term contract (approx. 4 months).
Shift: 11:00 PM 6:30 AM CST.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
- Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution of telecommunications equipment and materials.
- Manage inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts.
- Lead and train warehouse staff to achieve productivity goals.
- Implement process improvements for logistics and supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments on orders, shipments, and inventory needs.
- Prepare reports on operational metrics for senior management.
- Resolve issues related to equipment or employee safety promptly.
- Develop strategies to improve overall productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring activities for warehouse staff.
- Support projects aimed at enhancing telecommunications logistics.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or operations management.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team effectively.
- Proficiency with warehouse or operational software tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities while meeting goals.
- Commitment to quality standards and compliance in warehouse operations.
- Willingness to participate in training and professional development.
