Lead the continued growth of the firm's Water/Wastewater Group by driving business development, delivering projects, and expanding the client base, while coordinating closely with team members and senior management.
Serve as a recognized leader in the design of water treatment and distribution systems and wastewater treatment and collection systems.
Bring a proven track record in marketing, relationship-building, securing new work, and delivering exceptional service to existing clients.
Build, lead, and grow a team capable of managing workload demands, while mentoring staff on client care, business development, and technical skills.
Independently perform and oversee moderately complex engineering computations using conventional engineering practices.
Utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software/equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Write technical specifications, reports, and correspondence tailored to a variety of audiences.
Coordinate with government agencies, client staff, and other professionals to gather design information and secure approvals.
Exercise sound discretion and judgment across all work tasks.
Learn and apply the company's standards and best practices.
Maintain visibility and involvement in industry-affiliated professional organizations, with a strong track record of leading internal technical teams and delivering projects profitably.
Manage projects and client expectations related to scope, schedule, and budget for the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater projects — including developing construction documents and specifications and providing construction oversight/administration.
BS/BA in Engineering or a related field, with 10+ years of relevant experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Idaho or Washington, or ability to obtain one within six months of hire.
Demonstrated experience directing and growing water/wastewater engineering efforts, ideally within Idaho and/or Washington.
10+ years of experience partnering with communities to address water and wastewater challenges.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, offering constructive feedback and direction to support team goals.
Strong work ethic and comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
