    The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Senior Workday HRIS Analyst with a primary focus on Workday Recruiting to support and enhance our Human Resources technology environment. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, implementation, and continuous optimization of Workday Recruiting processes, helping drive talent acquisition initiatives and deliver an efficient, user-friendly experience for recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates.

You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, IT, and other business stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable system solutions, streamline recruiting workflows, and maximize the effectiveness of Workday. The ideal candidate brings strong functional and technical expertise, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

While Workday Recruiting is at the heart of this position, experience with Core HCM, Security, and Compensation is highly valued and will enable you to deliver comprehensive, secure, and integrated HR technology solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Workday Recruiting initiatives: Design, configure, implement, and continuously improve Workday Recruiting business processes, workflows, and system functionality to support end-to-end talent acquisition operations.
    • Optimize the candidate lifecycle: Develop and enhance recruiting solutions that support the full hiring lifecycle, from requisition creation and candidate sourcing through interview management, offer processing, and onboarding.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with recruiters, recruiting leadership, hiring managers, HR, and IT to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate functional needs into effective Workday solutions.
    • Manage system enhancements and change requests: Evaluate, prioritize, document, and implement recruiting-related enhancements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives, system capabilities, and established governance standards.
    • Provide production support and troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve Workday Recruiting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend solutions that improve system performance, usability, and operational efficiency.
    • Support testing and deployment: Develop and execute test plans, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing, to validate configurations and ensure the quality of system changes before deployment.
    • Manage Workday releases and updates: Assess semiannual Workday releases and ongoing enhancements for their impact on Recruiting, coordinate testing, identify opportunities to leverage new functionality, and support implementation activities.
    • Apply security and compliance best practices: Support appropriate security roles, access controls, and business process permissions to protect sensitive employee and candidate information and maintain compliance with organizational policies.
    • Leverage Core HCM expertise: Apply knowledge of Core HCM and related Workday functionality to support connected HR processes, improve data consistency, and deliver integrated solutions across the employee lifecycle.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert: Provide guidance to stakeholders on Workday Recruiting capabilities, configuration options, and system best practices. Recommend innovative solutions that balance business needs, technical requirements, and long-term system sustainability.
    • Document and standardize processes: Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, test scripts, and process procedures. Develop best practices that promote consistency, support knowledge sharing, and simplify ongoing system administration.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in HRIS, business analysis, system implementations, process design, project management, or related areas.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring, supporting, and optimizing Workday Recruiting.
    • Demonstrated experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional system configurations and process improvements.
    • Experience supporting the full recruiting lifecycle, including requisitions, candidate management, interview processes, offers, and onboarding.
    • Experience developing test plans, executing system testing, troubleshooting issues, and supporting system releases and deployments.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business teams.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data quality, system integrity, and continuous improvement.

    Desired:

    • 5+ years of experience with Workday Recruiting including business process configuration, security roles, calculate fields, access controls, and related functionality.
    • 3+ years of experience with Workday Core HCM and Security, including business process configuration, security roles, access controls, and related functionality.
    • Experience with additional technology platforms such as Eightfold or Cornerstone.
    • Experience with Workday reporting, dashboards, calculated fields, and recruiting.
    • Familiarity with HR data privacy, security best practices, and system governance.
