Responsibilities:- Represent clients in workers' compensation claims and hearings.
- Assist in leading firm worker's compensation team and initiatives.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents.
- Advise clients on their rights and options regarding workers' compensation benefits.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with legal standards.
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to gather evidence supporting claims.
- Provide exceptional client service through regular communication and updates.
Requirements:- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Nebraska license required.
- Iowa license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
