Overview

Join a dynamic opening team in a historic renovated building with a unique concept! The Cambria Hotel Boston Logan Airport is seeking a Breakfast Server to provide fast, friendly, and attentive morning service for hotel guests and local diners.

Position Summary

The Breakfast Server is responsible for creating a positive start to the guest's day through efficient, welcoming service. This position takes orders, serves food and beverages, maintains a clean and organized section, and works closely with the kitchen and restaurant team to ensure a smooth breakfast experience.

Key Responsibilities

·      Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional breakfast service

·         Explain menu offerings, answer questions, and make recommendations based on guest preferences

·         Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the restaurant POS system

·         Serve food and beverages efficiently and monitor tables throughout the dining experience

·         Upsell menu items and beverages appropriately while maintaining a guest-focused approach

·         Ensure orders are accurate and communicate modifications, allergies, or special requests to the kitchen

·         Process guest checks, room charges, credit card payments, and other approved payment methods accurately

·         Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned tables, service stations, and dining areas

·         Complete opening, side-work, stocking, and closing responsibilities as assigned

·         Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate service concerns to a supervisor when necessary

·         Work collaboratively with hosts, culinary team members, and other servers to maintain efficient service flow

·         Maintain compliance with Cambria/Choice Hotels standards and all property policies and procedures

Qualifications

·         Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred

·         Morning availability and dependable attendance required

·         Positive attitude and genuine interest in guest service

·         Strong communication and teamwork skills

·         Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced breakfast environment

·         Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry items associated with normal restaurant service

Compensation

$8–$10/hour + tips
