Join us for this incredible opportunity at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill hotel in our brand-new Article One Restaurant, one of only a few full-service restaurants in our immediate area. Restaurant Servers are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, assisting with the selection of food and beverage items, and communicating with the Culinary team to ensure our guests have a great experience. The right person will gain menu knowledge in order to give recommendations, assist with general restaurant preparation, and help maintain a sanitary environment among other general restaurant tasks. We are looking for someone with the flexibility to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays, any time between the hours of 5:30am - 12:00am. If you have experience as a server in a restaurant, we'd love to hear from you!

The hourly rate for this position is $11.7188 per hour, with increases at six months and one year.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to use our computer systems and applications
• Adept at handling a variety of guest interactions with professionalism and warmth
• Experience in Food and Beverage strongly preferred
• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays
