JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for serving quality food to our guests in a friendly and helpful manner in accordance with Parkhurst standards and procedures under strict sanitary conditions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Prepare service line for operation as instructed by Executive Chef and/or Management. The line is to be garnished properly at all times.

  2. Serve and interact with our guests in a friendly, professional manner.

  3. Communicate with kitchen staff to maintain sufficient amount of food.

  4. Practice portion control guidelines continually.

  5. Check quality of food items, making sure they meet standards of taste, appearance and correct temperatures. Report any substandard quality to the Executive Chef and/or Management.

  6. Post all necessary signage and merchandise service areas.

  7. Follow production sheets to establish proper serving utensils.

  8. Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management, using "clean as you go" techniques.

  9. Maintain an open line of communication with management, informing them of products and supplies needed.

  10. Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.

  11. Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards Uses Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.

  12. Assist fellow team members at every opportunity.

  13. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

The pay rate for this position is $15.25 / hour with a one dollar increase after 90 days.


Full-time benefits include up to 160 hours of PTO (Sick & Safe Leave included), up to 4 days of Rest & Relaxation time, 3 paid holidays, health/dental/vision/disability/life/FSA insurance eligibility after 60 days, 401k plan with match, EAP, free meal while working, access to national discounts/perks platform.
