The Country Club of Spartanburg is seeking energetic and hospitality-focused servers to join our Cupola team. Cupola is our fast casual dining venue offering both indoor and outdoor dining in a relaxed, family-friendly setting adjacent to the pool and activity areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and creating memorable experiences for families looking to unwind after golf, tennis, swimming, and other club activities.

We are looking for team members who are friendly, dependable, attentive, and passionate about hospitality.

Position Summary

Provide efficient, welcoming, and professional food and beverage service to club members and guests while maintaining the warm and relaxed atmosphere that makes Cupola a favorite gathering place for families and friends.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Weekend and evening availability preferred

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and beverages promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
• Assist with setup, breakdown, stocking, and side work duties
• Maintain attentive service throughout the dining experience
• Answer questions regarding menu items and daily specials
• Process member charges and payments accurately
• Maintain a clean and welcoming indoor and outdoor dining environment
• Follow all food safety and alcohol service standards
• Communicate member feedback or concerns to management promptly
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure excellent member experiences

Licenses & Certifications

• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol service certification preferred
• Must meet legal age requirements for alcohol service

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry trays or items up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
