You’ll gain valuable skills in customer service, menu knowledge, and teamwork while enjoying flexible schedules and shift meals.

What You’ll Do

• Warmly greet guests and guide them through our menu, sharing your knowledge of ramen styles, broths, and toppings
• Take accurate orders and enter them into the POS, noting allergies and special requests
• Serve food, beer, sake, and other beverages responsibly and promptly
• Check IDs and comply with TABC rules to ensure responsible alcohol service
• Handle payments and cash accurately while providing friendly service
• Collaborate with hosts, bussers, and kitchen staff to keep service smooth and fun
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work like restocking and cleaning
• Maintain a clean and welcoming section, resetting tables efficiently during busy times
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and Silverlake Ramen’s high service standards

What You Bring

• 18 years or older with a friendly, upbeat attitude
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, enthusiastic environment
• Texas Food Handler and TABC Seller-Server certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Availability for flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts (6 to 8+ hours)

Nice to Have

• Previous serving experience in high-volume or full-service restaurants
• Knowledge of ramen, Japanese cuisine, beer, or sake
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
