The Staten Island Workforce1 Career Center is partnering with Kills Boro Brewing Co. to find qualified candidates for a Server in Staten Island, New York. Kills Boro Brewing Co. is a Staten Island-based craft brewery that produces locally crafted beers and provides a welcoming community environment. Through its brewery and food-service offerings, the business combines craft beer, dining, and hospitality. Position Overview:

The Server provides excellent customer service in the restaurant and taproom at Kills Boro Brewing Co. and Knead. This role takes food and beverage orders, explains menu items and beer selections, serves meals and drinks, and helps ensure guests enjoy a positive dining experience. Servers work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to maintain accurate orders and efficient service. The position also involves maintaining a clean dining area and managing multiple tables in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

 

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming dining experience.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Explain menu items and beer selections to guests.
• Serve meals and beverages to customers.
• Communicate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to coordinate service.
• Manage multiple tables in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Help ensure accurate orders and efficient service throughout the guest experience.

Requirements:

• At least six months of previous serving or hospitality experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to take accurate orders and communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to providing excellent guest service and maintaining a clean, organized dining area.
• Must have flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay Range: USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
