At Stones Throw, every visit should feel like an occasion, and our servers make that happen. We’re looking for someone who welcomes guests warmly, knows the menu inside and out, and can make a daily special or signature cocktail sound irresistible. From the first greeting to the final check, you’ll guide each guest’s experience with confidence and care, working closely with the kitchen and pitching in wherever the team needs you. If you love hospitality and thrive in a lively waterfront setting, we’d love to meet you. Candidates must have availability nights, weekends, and holidays. 

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with warmth and intention — first impressions are everything here
• Guide guests through our menu with confidence, enthusiasm, and genuine knowledge of each dish and cocktail
• Present daily specials and answer questions in a way that builds excitement
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and seamlessly 
• Be the bridge between kitchen and guest, ensuring every dish arrives exactly as it should
• Assist with and narrate the finishing presentations that make Stone's Throw unforgettable
• Process checks and payments with efficiency and a warm close to the experience
• Pitch in wherever needed — great teams don't have blind spots

What You'll Bring

• Strong working knowledge of the full menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials
• Thorough understanding of common food allergies and cross-contamination protocols
• Previous experience required serving in a fast-paced, upscale, high-volume bar
• Must have open availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask gracefully under pressure
• A polished, professional presence paired with genuine hospitality

Physical Requirements

• Stand for long periods in this active role
• Carry and balance trays weighing up to 25 lbs
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy dining environment
